Generic - Score and Snap Nipper

  • Description
    The score and snap cutter is best used on soft fired ceramic wall tiles that are larger than 5cm. The carbon steel wheel is first used to etch or score the desired line to be cut. Then the tile is placed in the jaws of the clamp with the score line centered and the handles are squeezed. The ensuing pressure is applied to the 2 side of the score and the tile will break neatly into 2 pieces. For tiles that are smaller than 10cm a wheel nipper or sidebiter may also be used.
